Terms + Conditions
Unless otherwise agreed at the time of your booking and confirmed in writing by us via email on your booking confirmation. School House, Bosherston is let on the following terms and conditions.
Weekly bookings (7 nights) start on a Saturday and run until the following Saturday. We ask that guests arrive after 3:00pm on the day of arrival and leave by 10:00am on the day of departure.
Provisional bookings must be confirmed within 7 days of booking by sending a non-refundable deposit of no less than 50% of the total booking value.
The balance of your booking must be received at least 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
In the case of bookings made within less than 8 weeks of your holiday start date, the full booking cost is due.
Cancellation:
Cancellation notification more than 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date: If the cancellation is notified to us more than 8 weeks prior to the original start date, only the non-refundable deposit will be retained. Any other monies paid will be returned to you.
Cancellation notification less than 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date: If notice of the cancellation is received less than 8 weeks prior to the original start date, and we are unable to re-let The School House for the same period, the rental will be payable by you in full. Where The School House is re-let, the non-refundable deposit will be retained, with any other monies paid being returned to you.
Accidental damage: we understand that accidents do happen. However, we ask that any damages or breakages be reported as soon as possible to us after it occurs. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakage of any item of contents.
Sub-letting: No sub-letting will be allowed and numbers are not permitted to exceed the numbers agreed and confirmed in your written reservation confirmation.
Doggie Visitors:
One well behaved dog is welcome at an additional charge of £20 per week.
We love dogs and always had a much loved family dog when we lived here - the walking really is amazing! We permit one well behaved dog but there are house rules for any of our doggie visitors that must be adhered to.
On no account leave your dog in the cottage unattended.
They are kept under control at all times.
Guests will bring bedding/baskets and food bowls for their pets.
They are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture.
The garden is not dog proof.
All pets are up to date with flea and worming treatments.
Guests accept total responsibility for their pet and the pet’s actions e.g. cleaning up mess etc and being financially responsible for any damage caused.
Failure to comply with any of these points will lead to guest’s liability for ensuring problems and costs.
